Meet Your Lead Coordinator

Samantha Buckner
Program Manager and Developer
(586) 646-0020
Samantha joined the team as a Serve Louisiana member through Americorps. She is finishing her degree from Michigan State University and will receive a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Human Behavior & Social Services. Originally from a small town on the east side of Michigan, she has recently relocated to New Orleans in search of developing herself as a sound professional. Her hopes to make a positive impact on the New Orleans community aligned perfectly with the NetWork Volunteers team’s mission. Samantha solidified her love of service during her time in South Africa doing conservation work at a cheetah reservation. Service is meaningful to her not only because of its benefits to communities around the globe, but also its ability to make lasting connections. She is excited to meet and welcome individuals who are also passionate about service and paying it forward.
